Professional Conversion Programme (PCP) Networking Event at Salesforce Singapore
SGTech, in collaboration with Salesforce Singapore, IMDA and WSG held a Professional Conversion Programme(PCP) for Salesforce Platform Professionals networking event on 28 Aug 18. The event garnered more than 140 registrants and was held after-office hours for Professionals, Managers, Executives and Technicians (PMETs), including mid-career switchers, to find out more this new PCP.
Attendees were given an overview of the six-month long place-and-train career conversion programme and interacted with hiring companies. Successful hires will undergo skills and career conversion to take on Salesforce related job roles.

Launchpad Tours for SIM & TP Students
Close to 40 students from SIM Global Education and Temasek Polytechnic Diploma in Business had a firsthand experience of a startup working environment. SGTech presented an overview of the tech industry and introduced TalentGuru for the students to source for internships and full-time opportunities. Ethan, Marketing & Business Development Director of InvestingNote, shared with students traits he looks for in an intern and how he started his journey in a FinTech startup. Edgar, Project Manager of Neeuro, a digital health tech and EdTech startup, showed the various challenges startups face and their community outreach events for their product, Senzeband.
