Congratulations to the Winners of #EWASTENOMORE Challenge 2021

The eRevival Square #EWASTENOMORE Challenge set out to encourage students and members of the public to create an original product by repurposing faulty or damaged electrical household appliances. Our objectives for this public engagement initiative were to:

  •  Encourage participants to develop innovative sustainable solutions
  •  Drive public awareness and consumer education on e-waste
  •  Cultivate a habit of consciousness towards the use of electronics
  •  Develop a communal platform with like-minded individuals
  •  Inspire the public to start upcycling

The winners were selected based on their creativity, the functionality and aesthetics of the repurposed products and the articulation of their key takeaways from the challenge. They received their prizes at Our Tampines Hub on 24 April 2022, in conjunction with the re-opening of Repair Kopitiam at the location.
